摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new methacrylamide-based polymer that can be widely used for a curing (crosslinking) system such as water-base adhesive and paint, or a sealing material, etc., with the object of synthesizing an N-methacryloyl azetidine-based polymer having a definite chemical structure, and to provide a method for producing the polymer. SOLUTION: The N-methacryloyl azetidine-based polymer has a repeating unit represented by general formula (I), wherein R<SB>1</SB>-R<SB>6</SB>are each a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group, and has a number average molecular weight (M<SB>n</SB>) of 2,000-1,000,000, and a molecular weight distribution (M<SB>w</SB>/M<SB>n</SB>, wherein, M<SB>w</SB>is weight average molecular weight) is not more than 3.0.
