PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat generation so as to improve durability and operability of a joint, by sufficiently forming an oil film on contact portions of a holder outer spherical face and an outer ring inner spherical face so as to improve lubricity. SOLUTION: Annular oil grooves 10, 11 are formed in the inner peripheral face 1c of an outer ring 1 of a fixed type constant velocity universal joint at portions in contact with a cage 4.
