PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height adjustment unit for a block capable of accurately performing height adjustment of the block with sufficient workability even when dimension accuracy of the block is not sufficient when a block stacking structure article of an elevator shaft is constructed. SOLUTION: The height adjustment unit for the block for height-adjusting an upper block Ba relative to a lower block Bb by providing a required clearance G between the upper and lower blocks and retaining the state is constituted. The unit is provided with a lower fixed member 61 detachably fixed to the lower block Bb; and an upper fixed member 62 detachably fixed to the upper block Ba. Notch parts 109, 81 for detachably fitting an adjustment bolt 63 in a lateral direction are provided on a horizontal piece 106 of the upper fixed member 62 and a horizontal piece 73 of the lower fixed member 61. Upper and lower nut members 66, 67, 70, 71 are thread-engaged with each of an upper male screw part 65 and a lower male screw part 69 of the adjustment bolt 63.
