PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration and noise of a gear device for a rolling stock. SOLUTION: Thickness of a rim part 3ba of a large gear 3b is increased in the radial direction or a gear tooth part 3bd is formed large to keep the natural frequency of the large gear 3b out of an engagement frequency range corresponding to a normal vehicle speed of the rolling stock, or thickness of the rim part 3ba is increased in the radial direction and the gear tooth part 3bd is formed large to increase rigidity.
