A display device having a package and a manufacturing method thereof are provided selectively to adhere conductive members on portions where the package is engaged to a printed circuit board, when manufacturing the printed circuit board. A display device includes a package(34) for connecting a panel(30) with a printed circuit board(32) and having a driving chip for driving the panel according a signal input from the printed circuit board. The panel is connected to the package by a conductive member(36), and the printed circuit board is connected to the package by conductive members(38,40,42,44) on only portions where the printed circuit board is connected to the package.
