<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable silicone resin composition capable of being used as a light-transmitting sealant which can seal at a lower temperature than 300°C and is excellent in heat resistance, light resistance, and light-transmitting property in a light wavelength region from UV light to visible light. <P>SOLUTION: This curable silicone resin composition which comprises a curable methylphenyl silicone resin containing a linear methylphenylsilicone resin having one or two silanol groups at one end or two ends in an amount of 60 to 100 mass%, and a metal alkoxide compound in an amount of 1 to 30 mass% (converted into a metal oxide) based on the total amount of the curable methylphenyl silicone resin and the metal alkoxide compound, the cured product of the curable silicone resin composition becoming a light-transmitting cured product having a refractive index (value measured with light of 633 nm) of ≥1.48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
