<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording/reproducing device capable of setting an optimal condition for recording in accordance with dispersion of light receiving/emitting elements for changes in ambient temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The recording/reproducing device is provided with: a light receiving/emitting head 103 which irradiates a disk 101 with a recording optical laser beam corresponding to a recording signal to create a pit sequence and recording data; a temperature sensor 116 for measuring a temperature near the light receiving/emitting head 103; a strategy adjuster 109 for adjusting a time for irradiation with the recording optical laser beam; a memory 115 for storing a plurality of adjustment amounts for the strategy adjuster 109 to adjust the time for irradiation.
