<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store the hue and the gradation of image data outside of an output color gamut and to perform color processing according to user's request for color transformation, in the case of mapping the image data to an output color gamut. <P>SOLUTION: A UI part 101 inputs designation of a color transformation mode, an input image and the output color gamut from a user. A parameter setting part 103 selects a color transformation parameter according to the color transformation mode. A color appearance transformation part 104, an inside/outside judgment part 106 and a mapping part 107 map the input image to the output color gamut using the color transformation parameter and information of the output color gamut. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
