<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working electrode enhancing adhesion between a substrate and a porous semiconductor layer. <P>SOLUTION: The working electrode is faced to a counter electrode through an electrolyte layer in at least a part and equipped with a titanium substrate; two or more columnar titanium oxide layers formed on the titanium substrate; and a porous oxide semiconductor layer carried with sensitizing dye and filling gaps in the titanium oxide layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
