APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING FILTER TYPE DUST COLLECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling a filter type dust collector which can control unnecessary cleaning operation of filter cloth.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for controlling the filter type dust collector includes: a differential pressure detection means (5) for detecting differential pressure before and after filtration with the filter cloth (4) of the filter type dust collector; a speed detection means (9) for detecting information on filtration speed using the filter cloth; purification means (10, 11) for performing purification operation of the filter cloth; and a control means (20) for controlling driving of the purification means. The controlling means controls the driving of the purification means according to the pressure loss factor in the filter cloth calculated using the detection results of differential pressure detection means and the speed detection means.
