<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of reducing collision sound at a locking position of a locking rod, and minimizing design change due to change of an assembling direction of the locking rod. <P>SOLUTION: The steering lock device 1 is provided with a housing 3, a drive unit housing 5, a cam mechanism 7, and the locking rod 9. The cam mechanism 7 has a motor 11 and a worm wheel 13. The locking rod 9 has a housing side supporting portion 15 supported by the housing 3, and the wheel side supporting portion 17 supported by the housing 3. The wheel side supporting portion 17 has a cam locking portion 21 locked to a cam portion 19 of the worm wheel 13, and a movement regulating portion 23 regulating movement to the locking position of the locking rod 9.
