PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-treated fin material for a heat exchanger, by which a malodorous component is decomposed to restrain occurrence of a nasty smell, which has an excellent antibacterial action, the coating film of which is restrained from being damaged by press work to improve the corrosion resistance thereof and which has excellent suppressing effect of occurrence of corrosion under the coating film in a humid environment. SOLUTION: The surface-treated fin material 1 for the heat exchanger is provided with: an aluminum plate 2 or an aluminum alloy plate 2; a photocatalyst layer 3 formed on at least one side of the aluminum plate 2 or the aluminum alloy plate 2; and a water-soluble resin-lubricated layer 4 formed on the surface of the photocatalyst layer 3. The photocatalyst layer 3 comprises titanium dioxide, titanium phosphate or a hydrate of titanium phosphate and a water-soluble resin.
