摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type manufacturing device of a grid body for a lead-acid storage battery capable of contributing to the improvement of conductivity and falling of an active material. SOLUTION: The manufacturing device of the grid body for the lead-acid storage battery comprises disk cutters 1Aa, 1Ba formed by coaxially arranging a plurality of disks 5Aa, 5Ba wherein projecting parts 2Aa, 2Ba projected in an outer peripheral direction from reference circumferential surfaces 4Aa, 4Ba with predetermined radii and recessed parts 3Aa, 3Ba located between the projecting parts are alternately formed over the whole peripheries. A sheet made of lead or a lead alloy is allowed to pass between the reference circumferential surface 4Aa of one disk cutter 1Aa and the reference circumferential surface 4Ba of the other disk cutter 1Ba to form slits, and line parts formed by the slits are plastically deformed to alternately project on both front and rear faces of the sheet for development and extension. The respective disks 5Aa, 5Ba constituting the respective disk cutters 1Aa, 1Ba differ in the thickness of the projecting parts 2Aa, 2Ba at least in one direction out of a circumferential direction and the thickness direction of the disks.
