PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a storage easily without changing setting for the storage even when a correspondence between a computer and a working environment is changed. SOLUTION: An initiator ID including a user ID102 and a computer ID103 is acquired by an acquisition part 101 of a user terminal 10-i. This initiator ID is transmitted by a transmitting part 104 and received by a transmitting/receiving part 300 of the storage 30. An LUDB301 stores information indicating an LU corresponding to the user in association with each of user IDs for a plurality of users. An LU masking mechanism 302 specifies the LU corresponding to the user ID102 by referring to the LUDB301. When the received initiator ID is different from the initiator ID stored in a table 304 in association with the specified LU, the access control part 306 rejects access to the LU by the user terminal 10-i.
