PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warning system capable of reducing erroneous warnings because there is the possibility that an erroneous warning is issued even in a normal state with no occurrence of abnormality. SOLUTION: The warning system is provided with detecting means 3, 5 and 7 of at least one substance among a chemical substance, a biological substance and a radioactive substance, a determining means 9 for determining an abnormal state on the basis of detection by the detecting means, and a communication means 11 for transmitting a signal notifying abnormality when the determining means detects the abnormality, wherein the communication means can receive a signal from the outside, the detecting means continuously, intermittently and always performs detection, and the determining means 9 has a storing means 17 for storing and accumulating information of detection results of the detecting means and information from the outside sent from the communication means, outputs a signal notifying the occurrence of the abnormal state when comparing the information accumulated in the storing means with information currently detected by the detecting means to detect the occurrence of an abnormal state, determines the possibility that the determination by the determining means is an erroneous notification on the basis of at least one information between information about environment and information about traffic as information from the outside and notifies the possibility of being an erroneous notification.
