PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safeness in vehicle driving by enabling a driver to surely comprehend the operating state of a safety driving support service. SOLUTION: To prevent the occurrence of an accident in a specified area, for example, an intersection or the like, a roadside safety support device 110 monitors the existence and moving state of a moving object (vehicle and walker) in the specified area by an object recognition sensor 111, and executes a safety driving support service that transmits danger warning information for notifying an on-vehicle device 120 of a corresponding vehicle of the danger of a collision through road/vehicle radio communication when there is the possibility of a collision between vehicles or between a vehicle and a walker. On the other hand, the on-vehicle device periodically makes an inquiry as to whether the safety driving support service normally operates, and an operating state informing part 124 always imparts information clearly showing that the safety driving support service normally operates or information clarifying that the safety driving support service does not normally operate.
