PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the presence of corrosion with high accuracy, in an underground tank or underground piping. SOLUTION: The corrosion estimation apparatus for estimating the presence of the corrosion of the underground tank and the underground piping has the underground tank made of steel embedded in the ground, the underground piping made of steel connected to the underground tank, the grounding electrode embedded at a position separated from the underground tank, a measuring means for measuring the electrochemical impedance between the underground tank, the underground piping and the grounding electrode and a control means for estimating the presence of the corrosion of the underground tank or the underground piping.
