An apparatus and a method for providing multimedia information, an apparatus for providing car information and a congregational telematics system are provided to enhance telematics service quality by arranging telematics service information based on a service function. An apparatus for providing multimedia information includes a recognizing unit(310), a transmitting/receiving unit(320) and a configuring unit(330). The recognizing unit recognizes at least one of environment information and version information of a car. The transmitting/receiving unit receives a software module using at least one of the recognized environment information and version information of the car. The configuring unit rearranges software configuration elements according to the received software module.
