<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition excellent in storage stability and capable of providing a durable polymerized film, and a lithographic printing original plate excellent in storage stability and capable of providing a lithographic printing plate having printing durability. <P>SOLUTION: The polymerizable composition comprises at least (1) a complex of a layered inorganic compound and an organic compound, (2) a compound having an addition polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated bond, and (3) a polymerization initiator.
