<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist sauna system which does not require any extra device for a mist sauna and can allow a person to take a mist sauna only without taking a bath and its operation method. <P>SOLUTION: When a user requests a mist operation, an on-off valve V1 is closed, V2 is closed, V3 is opened, V4 is opened and V5 is closed and a circulation pump 9b is driven, a burner 7b is burned and a burner 8b is stopped. Thus, hot water is supplied according to a heavy line in a figure 1. In other words, water supplied from water service piping W1 is heated by a hot water supply heat exchanger 7a and reaches a mist generation device 3 as hot water via communication piping W3 and a circulation pump 9b → a heat exchanger 9a → reheat forward side piping B1 → mist piping W4.
