摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a bearing component having a thrust dynamic pressure groove. <P>SOLUTION: A sleeve includes the thrust dynamic pressure groove in a bearing mechanism for generating dynamic pressure in the thrusting direction between itself and another member. Upon manufacturing the sleeve, a die 91 incorporating a dynamic pressure groove forming part 911 corresponding to the thrust dynamic pressure groove of the sleeve to be manufactured is prepared, and an intermediate member having the thrust dynamic groove in an inside space of the die 91 is formed by injection molding using a material for component molding including metallic microparticles and a binder. Then the binder included in the intermediate member is removed by heating. Thereafter, the metallic microparticles included in the intermediate member are sintered, and the sleeve is formed. As such, by the sleeve being formed along with the thrust dynamic pressure groove by metal injection molding, the sleeve having the thrust dynamic pressure groove can be efficiently manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
