<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare-earth magnet which can be well fixed by adhesives and moreover is difficult to separate between a magnet element assembly and a metal layer. <P>SOLUTION: The rare-earth magnet 1 comprises a magnet element assembly 2 containing a rare-earth element and a protection layer 4 formed on a surface of this magnet element assembly 2.
