<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rollover of a vehicle and reduce restriction in material selection of a part to be detected and not require additional processing to the part to be detected. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor device 2 is equipped with: ultrasonic sensors 10 of which at least one is mounted on each of fixed side raceway members of rolling bearings on the right and left sides of a vehicle, for sensing an ultrasonic echo from a connecting part of the fixed side raceway member and a rolling element; a rolling element load calculating means 31 for calculating the load acting on the rolling element from an output of the ultrasonic sensors 10 by using a correlation between a load acting on the rolling element for each rolling bearing and the echo strength; a vertical direction load calculating means 32a for calculating a vertical direction component of right and left tire grounding loads based on each rolling element load; and a rollover prevention signal generating means 34 for generating a signal for preventing a rollover of a vehicle based on the vertical direction load values of the right and left wheels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
