PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program viewing notifying apparatus which allows viewers to notify third persons recommendation programs and actively transmit information. SOLUTION: The program viewing notifying apparatus (0200) is composed of a program viewing part (0201), a program specification information acquisition part (0202), a notification information generation part (0203), a notifying destination specification information storage part (0204), and a transmission part (0205). Each of them is composed of either of hardware, software, or both of hardware and software. As an example, if a computer is used, hardware which is composed of a CPU, a memory, a bus, interfaces and peripheral devices, and software which can be executed on the hardware are available. Programs loaded on the memory are sequentially executed, so that functions at each part are realized by processing, storage and output of memory data or data inputted through the interfaces.
