<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid system of a vehicle for controlling the frequency or the voltage of generator output without depending on engine speed, and of freely adjusting the torque and the speed of an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: In the hybrid system of a vehicle in which the engine is driven by a generator and in which electric power generated by the generator is directly supplied to drive an electric motor for driving wheels, the output required of the electric motor is set according to the output required for the vehicle, the output required of the generator is set according to the set output required of the electric motor, and engine output is set according to the set output required of the generator. The generator has a magnetic field adjusting means for adjusting a magnetic field formed by the generator having a field coil. The magnetic field adjusting means can adjust the voltage or the frequency of the generator by passing a variable AC current through the field coil, and varying the current value or the current period of the variable AC current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
