PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner free from a state in which air conditioning capacities of a plurality of indoor machines are not uniformly lowered when air conditioning load is higher than a rated capacity, and capable of securing high air conditioning capacity with respect to the indoor machine which ordinarily needs high air conditioning capacity. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner having a refrigerant circuit constituted by circularly connecting a compressor 1, a plurality of sets of an indoor-side heat exchanger 5 and a pressure reducer 4 connected in parallel with each other, and a heat source machine-side heat exchanger 3, the sets of indoor-side heat exchanger 5 and pressure reducer 4 are respectively disposed in each of the plurality of indoor machines 11A, 11B, 11C, and the plurality of indoor machines are disposed in the same chamber. A control device 15 is disposed to allow any of the indoor machines to perform air conditioning capacity saving operation or to stop, when a detected air conditioning load of the refrigerant circuit is higher than a rated heating capacity predetermined on the refrigerant circuit.
