PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sampling type fire detection device provided with both a smoke sensor and a hydrogen detector as sensors to perform more accurate fire detection. SOLUTION: This fire detection device having a sampling tube 1 provided in a monitoring space F, and having the smoke sensor 9 and a suction machine 11 provided in a base end part 5 of the sampling tube 1 has: the hydrogen detector 20 provided in the base end part 5 of the sampling tube 1; and a controller 29 determining fire occurrence when deciding that both the smoke sensor 9 and the hydrogen detector 20 detect a fire on the basis of respective output signals from the smoke sensor 9 and the hydrogen detector 20. The hydrogen detector 20 comprises a mass spectrometer 21 provided through a branch pipe 13 from between the smoke sensor 9 and the suction machine 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
