PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method and a water treatment apparatus capable of facilitating an alkali treatment and stably obtaining transmitted water excellent in specific resistance. SOLUTION: The water to be treated is supplied to a first reverse osmotic membrane module 1, and degassing treatment is operated to the transmitted water from the first reverse osmotic membrane module 1, and the alkali treatment is applied to the degassed transmitted water, and the alkali treated transmitted water is supplied to a second reverse osmotic membrane module 4, and transmitted water is collected.
