PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for controlling feeding and forming image properly in accordance with characteristics of a sheet material without enlarging an image forming device in the image forming device. SOLUTION: This image forming device has a sheet material loading means for loading a sheet material, a feeding means for feeding the sheet material loaded on the sheet material loading means, and a specific weight deciding means for deciding specific weight of the sheet material loaded on the sheet material loading means.
