A rolling bearing and a supercharger using the rolling bearing. The rolling bearing has an inner ring (1) having a first raceway on its outer periphery, an outer ring (3) having a second raceway on its inner periphery, an intermediate ring (2) placed between the inner and outer rings, having a third raceway on its inner periphery, and having a fourth raceway on its outer periphery, first rolling bodies (4) placed between the first raceway and the third raceway, and second rolling bodies (5) placed between the fourth raceway and the second raceway. The intermediate ring has a large diameter ring section (7) and a small diameter ring section (6) provided with an inclined ring section (15) in between. The third raceway is formed at the boundary between the large diameter ring section and the inclined ring section, and the fourth raceway is formed at the boundary between the small diameter ring section and the inclined ring section. The rolling bearing is used for a supercharger having a turbine shaft supported in a housing by the rolling bearing and having at one end a turbine. The radial and axial dimensions of the rolling bearing are reduced.
