The system has an oil pan (10) for supplying engine oil, and another oil pan (11) for supplying gear oil. The former oil pan is formed with the latter oil pan from a single-piece, so that the system forms a monolithic construction unit, where the oil pans have two oil bowls (10a, 11a) that are connected with each other. The oil bowls have a common limiting wall that is provided for separating the oil bowls from each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing an oil pan system.
