An electronic conference system, an electronic conference supporting method, an electronic conference controlling method, and a portable storage device are provided to display a portion of a screen image separately, which is displayed during an electronic conference. A first conference controller(20) controls the display of a first display device. The first conference controller(20) includes a storage processing unit and a writing unit. The storage processing unit stores screen image data displayed on the first display device in an image data storage unit when a copy-instructing request is received from a portable storage. The writing unit transmits and stores acquisition source information of the screen image data displayed on the first display device according to the copy-instructing request. A second conference controller(30) controls the display of a second display device. The second conference controller(30) includes a reading unit for reading the acquisition source information stored in the portable storage, an acquisition processing unit for acquiring the image data from the screen image data storage unit based on the acquisition source information, and a display controlling unit(38) for displaying the screen image data acquired by the acquisition processing unit on the second display device.
