An electronic conference system is provided to write a memo for transmitting the information to another by installing a document memory unit of memorizing image data, a sharing overwrite data, and a personal overwrite data. An electronic conference system comprises terminals(10,16), and a document memory unit(50). The terminals have reading units of selectively reading the image data of each page of the document, a sharing overwrite data, a personal overwrite data from the document memory unit, and a display control unit for overwriting the data read by the reading units and displaying the data on a display unit. The document memory unit memorizes the image data, the sharing overwrite data, and the personal overwrite data of a participant containing the personal memo information. The reading units have a writing judgment unit, and an image compiler(56).
