The invention relates to an aqueous silicon dispersion containing polyorganosiloxanes (POS) that can be cross-linked or are cross-linked by polycondensation. The aim of the invention is to provide a dispersion of this type that rectifies known deficiencies and which is capable of correctly and sufficiently cross-linking into an elastomer that provides the final application (e.g. paint) with an effective waterproofing, i.e. an increased wet abrasion resistance (WAR) and a waterproofness.
