A disc cylinder lock unit is provided to be used indoors and outdoors vulnerable to sand or splash mud and to be locked and unlocked with a spare key by pulling a key out of a key hole after gripping and rotating a projected shaft unit. A disc cylinder lock unit comprises a housing(11), a rotor(12), a plurality of disc tumblers(13,14,15), a circular arc-type leaf spring(16), a side bar(17), a locking plate(18), a front plate, and a rear plate(20). The housing includes a groove at a axial direction of an inner surface, and an aperture(11b,11c) at front and rear ends. The rotor is kept inside the housing to rotate about a rotation axis relatively and formed with a cut portion(12c) and a slit(12b) at the axial direction. The plural disc tumblers is kept inside the rotor to rotate separately and relatively about the rotation axis and formed with a key insertion hole(13a,14a,15a) at a center portion, and the cut portion(13b,14b,15b) and a convex portion(13c,14c,15c) positioned at a predetermined portion of an outer periphery thereof, respectively. The circular arc-type leaf spring is kept inside the rotor to apply compression to the plural disc tumblers so as to prevent the plural disc tumblers from being rotated when operating the key. The side bar is positioned at a void cut by the groove and the slit when corresponding the groove of the housing to the slit of the rotor, to prevent the rotor from being rotated inside the housing relatively. The locking plate is compressed by contacting a predetermined portion of the rotor and by rotating the rotor inside the housing relatively, and entered to the inside of the housing. The front plate includes the key insertion hole(19a) at the center portion, and closes the aperture of the front end for the housing. The rear plate has the hole(20a) at the center portion and closes the aperture of the rear end for the housing. A gap from the key insertion hole of the front plate to the hole of the rear plate is penetrated and connected straightly so as to pass sand, pebbles, and dirt.
