<p>The invention relates to a method for coating a steel strip comprising, in % by weight, C: ??ñ 1,6 %, Mn: 6 - 30 %, Al: ??ñ 10 %, Ni: ??ñ 10 %, Cr: ??ñ 10 %, Si: ??ñ 8 %, Cu: ??ñ 3 %, Nb: ??ñ 0,6 %, Ti: ??ñ 0,3 %, V: ??ñ 0,3 %, P: ??ñ 0,1 %, B: ??ñ 0,01 %, the rest being iron and unavoidable impurities. The aim of said invention is to develop a method for coating also steel strips, which are not sufficiently coatable up to now, by means of a metal coating exhibiting an excellent corrosion-resistance and good welding characteristics. For this purpose, an aluminium layer is applied to the steel strip prior to a final annealing and a metal layer is applied to said aluminium layer thereafter. A steel strip or sheet formed by means of the inventive method is also disclosed.</p> |
