A brake system and a method for removing moisture on a brake disk thereof are provided to remove moisture effectively between a brake disk and a brake pad without additional devices. A brake includes: a rain sensor(40) provided in a vehicle so as to sense rainwater; a controller(50) sensing whether it rains by using the signal from the rain sensor and determining whether moisture is formed between a brake disk and a brake pad; and a brake pressure generating unit controlled by the controller so as to exert a predetermined brake pressure to each wheel when the moisture is formed between the brake disk and the brake pad. |
