A heating apparatus for a microwave oven is provided to generate a high temperature heat even in a low output state using plasma flame. A heating apparatus for a microwave oven includes a cavity(112), a cavity assembly, and an outer case(120). The cavity is disposed between a front plate(111) and a rear plate(113) to form a cooking chamber therebetween. A door(130) is installed at the front plate to open and close the cooking chamber. The cavity assembly has an electronic component chamber(114) formed at another space thereof and in which various electronic components are installed. The outer case is installed at an outer part of the cavity assembly to form an upper appearance and protect the cavity assembly from external environment. The electronic component chamber includes a magnetron(114a), a waveguide(114b), a high voltage transducer, and a blower(114d).
