A braider for manufacturing a shoe string is provided to make it possible to produce a twisted string having curve patters of various lengths and widths, by improving the structure of the braider. In a working plate(110), a spool(112) wound by a yarn(114) is moved along a spool guiding groove(112a) to prepare a twisted string(150). The twisted string is obtained by making the yarn wrap a surface of a core(115) while the yarn is twisted. A knit guide element(116) is disposed above the working plate, wherein the knit guide element has a guide hole(116a) through which the twisted string passes. A pair of drawing rollers(152,154) are disposed above the knit guide element to draw out the twisted string. A first roller and a second roller are disposed between the knit guide element and the drawing rollers. The first roller and the second roller control the twist pattern of the twisted string. A driving motor(160) supplies a driving force for linearly reciprocating the first roller and the second roller. |
