<p>A method for controlling operation of a ventilating apparatus is provided to supply air selectively by reducing or increasing the amount of air supply depending on the quality of air by comparing the pollution level of outdoor air with a predetermined reference level. A method for controlling operation of a ventilating apparatus comprising an air supply fan for introducing outdoor air to the inside and an exhaust fan for discharging indoor air to the outside, the method comprises the steps of: sensing pollution levels of indoor and outdoor air respectively(S110); comparing the sensed pollution levels of indoor and outdoor air(S120); comparing the pollution level of the outdoor air with a predetermined reference level, and controlling the amount of air supply by cutting off inflow of outdoor air if the pollution level of the outdoor air is out of range of the predetermined reference level while increasing the inflow of outdoor air if the pollution level of the outdoor air is in a range of the reference level(S140,130,150).</p> |
