APPARATUS OF MAINTAINING FRESHNESS

An apparatus for maintaining freshness of an object is provided to inhibit propagation of microorganisms by controlling ion flow within microorganisms and breaking electrochemical equilibrium of microorganism using electrodes in which their electric polarities are crossed each other. An apparatus for maintaining freshness of an object comprises: a plurality of shelf portions(310) containing a plate-shaped electrode portion on which the object is placed; and an electricity source portion(320) making electric polarity of the electrode portion be crossed each other and forming the electric field having the predetermined intensity, wherein the shelf portions are mutually in parallel and contains an electrode-connection portion(340) for electronically connecting the electricity source portion to metal electrodes; and the electrode portion is formed by covering a plate-shaped conductive material with a dielectric material, and is made of gold, silver, nickel, chromium, copper or ITO(indium tin oxide).
