An apparatus for filtering off external substances is provided to improve the convenience of filtering work, by continuously performing a process for filtering off the external particles contained in air through ventilation and circulation. A screw frame(130) is installed between a circulating housing(100) and a circulating frame(120), wherein the screw frame forms a spiral-shaped passage so as to generate vortex. A width of the spiral-shaped passage becomes gradually narrower to a lower portion of the passage. A discharge door(150) is installed at a lower end of the circulating housing, wherein the discharge door is opened or closed according to weight level of external particles filtered through a filter(140).
