The device has a body maintenance system (1) e.g. overalls, for maintaining a body in an equilibrium position. The maintenance system cooperates with an under-foot plate i.e. ski boot fixation, by using a connection unit (4) i.e. viscoelastic or rigid link, to maintain a user of the device in the equilibrium position. The plate is positioned at an end of the body, and the connection unit replaces defaulting muscles and an attachment (3) i.e. self-gripping buckle.
