<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake control device capable of stably controlling a position even when a motor current quantity with respect to torque is largely varied by temperature change, and capable of stably controlling the position even when characteristic change occurs in an actuator or a motor and the current quantity is uneven. <P>SOLUTION: The electric parking brake control mechanism is equipped with a rod to which rotation torque of the electric motor is transmitted through a torque transmission means and movable in an axis direction, a moving element having a female screw part screwed with a male screw part provided on the rod and unrotatable and linearly-movable with respect to the rod, and a control cable having one end connected to the moving element and the other end connected to a brake means of a parking brake of a vehicle, and the control cable is operated to a direction where the control cable releases the parking brake by a first energizing means provided on the brake means of the parking brake. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
