<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device with reduced characteristic deterioration of members provided at a bonding portion of a connecting terminal and at its periphery in a mounting substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device is provided with a light-emitting element 1, a reflecting face 3a surrounding the light-emitting element 1, a wavelength conversion member 4 provided above the light-emitting element 1, a translucent member 6 covering the light-emitting element 1, and the connecting terminals 5a, 5b respectively electrically connected to each electrode of the light-emitting element 1.
