<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable roof system for a vehicle capable of decreasing the number of members. <P>SOLUTION: The retractable roof system for vehicle is equipped with a roof locking device 70 installed on the vehicle body and holding a retractable roof in a storage space 7 different from a trunk space and a link mechanism 10 installed on the body and able to shift a lid 6 to cover the storage space 7 with possibility of opening and closing to the open position and the closed position.
