PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of a toner feeding/recovery roller and the generation of toner clogging on the toner feeding/recovery roller. SOLUTION: A developing unit for supplying toner to a photoreceptor drum 1 is provided with a developing device body 4a, a developing roller 4c, a toner feeding/recovery roller 4d, a remaining toner uniform formation member 4f, and a regulation member 4i. The developing device body 4a has a first aperture 4l and the developing roller 4c is arranged on the first aperture 4l of the developing device body 4a. The toner feeding/recovery roller 4d is arranged so as to approach from the inside of the developing device body 4a to the developing roller 4c to feed toner stored in the developing device body 4a to the developing roller 4c. The remaining toner uniform formation member 4f is arranged on the upper part of the toner feeding/recovery roller 4d to regulate the quantity of toner on the surface of the developing roller 4c to prescribed quantity. The regulation member 4i regulates the movement of toner existing on the upper side of the toner feeding/recovery roller 4d to the upper part between the regulation member 4i and the remaining toner uniform formation member 4f.
