PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluid-filled vibration isolator capable of positively switching the opening and closing of orifice passages with a stable vibration isolating characteristic, compact in size with superior durability while avoiding an increase in size. SOLUTION: This fluid-filled vibration isolator is provided with a first orifice passage 68 tuned to a low frequency area and a second orifice passage 76 tuned to a high frequency area. The second orifice passage 76 has a control part formed extending in a partitioning member 36, and a valve hole 78 opening to an equilibration chamber 58 is formed in the wall of the control part. A valve element 80 is assembled to the vibration isolator for shutting off the second orifice passage 76 by being inserted into the valve hole 78 while being able to enter and exit the valve hole 78, and a valve element driving means 82 is provided for switching the second orifice passage 76 between a communicated state and a shut-off state by driving and displacing the valve element 80 in the entering/exiting direction with respect to the valve hole 78.
