PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding type electronic component in which eddy current loss is reduced, and inductance characteristics are excellent, and the connection of the wire connection part is simple, and disconnection failure or the like does not occur. SOLUTION: This coil chip component 2 is provided with a coil core 4a of a core 4 around which a wire 10a is wound so that a coil 10 can be formed; a pair of flanges 4b and 4c integrally formed with the coil core of the core 4, and formed at the both side of the axial direction of the coil core 4a; a base electrode film 20 covering the outer periphery and external edge surface of each flange, so that the continuous line of the wire 10a can be connected; and an external electrode film 40 formed so that the outer periphery of the base electrode film 20 can be covered.
