PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data reproducing device capable of reading only data to be normally reproduced among the data to be recorded in a recording medium, so as to reproduce the data. SOLUTION: A CPU 7 acquires selection information from a flash memory 3 and outputs a reproduction indication to reproduce the data only concerning the data selected by the selection information. A decoder part 9 receives the reproduction indication so as to reproduce the data and to output a reproduction result. When the reproduction result indicates reproduction impossible, the CPU 7 changes the selection information.
